Perennial Abraxas Tasting Tonight!

Perennial Abraxas Tasting:

“From Blog Post to Beer Icon

Abraxas began humbly as the result of a fan-driven blog contest. “We asked our fans to come up with the next Perennial beer to brew, and the winner would be chosen by our brewers,” Wymore recalls. The winning concept: a bold Mexican Chocolate Stout. At the time, Perennial never imagined this beer would become a flagship stout that put the brewery on the national map. (READ MORE HERE)"

We’ll be offering pours of three variants and offering bottles to-go:

Vanilla
Coffee
Salted Chocolate

AND
Bombraxas, a collaboration between Prairie and Perennial.
Imperial Stout with ancho chilis, cacao nibs, cinnamon, Sump coffee, and vanilla. A collaboration with our friends at Prairie Artisan Ales.

PAIR WITH:

A nightcap by itself or a decadent chocolate pie. Bold, luxurious, and made for lingering.

Bottle Spotlights - Thanksgiving Edition

All bottles are 20% To-Go, find something tasty for your holiday table today!

A beer heavily inspired by some of our favorite Belgian producers. Built with @epiphanycraftmalt pils, wheat, and rye and hopped generously with the classic noble varieties of Saaz and Tettnanger.

Highly effervescent, with yeast forward notes of Asian pear, soft clove and herbal citrus. While we may not maintain a true flagship, this is one we hope to have on regularly. Fluffy, crisp and pleasantly bitter. At 4.5%, 10oz pours of this can go down “For Miles” if you will…

PAIR WITH: Turkey!

This style is perfect for the whole meal — its effervescence cuts through richness, resets the palate, and keeps every bite tasting fresh.

Everything started in 2004 from one of Teos’ visions: turning one of the typical flaws of beers - oxidation - into a strength. Long years of experimentations and tests culminating in the creation of a unique barley wine: Xyauyù. A peculiar name, that is difficult to forget, and comes from the innocent imagination of Wayan - Teo’s second child, who was three at the time - and the name of her imaginary daughter: Xyauyù.

PAIR WITH:

Pecan pie or pumpkin pie — its oxidative depth and dessert-like warmth make it the perfect holiday finale.

Stille Nacht (Silent Night) is a prestige beer from De Dolle Brouwers brewed for Christmas. It is a very interesting beer to age. We have samples of every bottling we have done so far and aging does not mean decreasing quality with this beer. Keep some samples at 10 degrees C and mark the year on the cap with an alcohol marker.

PAIR WITH:

First-course appetizers — a cheese board, spinach dip, or anything creamy and savory. Smooth, festive, and the perfect way to get the party started.
